Lhasa → Potala Palace → Jokhang Temple → Basomtso Lake → Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon → Suosong Village → Segrila Pass → Lulang → Bomi → Gangxiang Spruce Forest → Nyingchi
This 8-day journey begins in the holy city of Lhasa and gradually moves eastward through Tibet's most beautiful spring landscapes, ending in the peach blossom paradise of Nyingchi.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Southern Tibet Spring
Arrive Lhasa
Fly into Lhasa Gonggar Airport. Rest and acclimatize — drink plenty of water, avoid strenuous activity. Walk gently around the hotel area.
Lhasa Citywalk
Full day exploring Lhasa: Potala Palace (book tickets in advance!), Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street kora (pilgrimage circuit). Evening: try Tibetan butter tea and yak meat momos.
Lhasa → Basomtso Lake
Drive the Lhasa-Nyingchi Highway to Basomtso (Basom Tso) Lake — a sacred lake with a monastery on a tiny island. The turquoise water is mesmerizing. Stay lakeside.
Basomtso → Grand Canyon → Suosong Village
Continue to the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon. Visit Yusong Island. Stay in Suosong Village with epic views of Namcha Barwa at sunrise and sunset.
Gala Village → Segrila Pass → Lulang
Visit Gala Peach Blossom Village. Cross the 4,720m Segrila Pass for incredible alpine views. Descend to Lulang Alpine Meadow — eat the famous Lulang Stone Hot Pot.
Bomi Peach Blossom Valley
Full day in the spectacular Bomi Peach Blossom Valley. Visit Qingduo Temple and local villages surrounded by blooming peach trees and snow-capped peaks.
Gangxiang Spruce Forest → Nyingchi
Trek through ancient Gangxiang Spruce Forest. Visit Guxiang Lake reflecting the surrounding mountains. Return to Nyingchi city.
Nyingchi Departure
Departure from Nyingchi Airport. Or continue to other Tibet destinations.

Practical Tips
- Altitude: Lhasa is 3,650m. Take Day 1 very easy. Consider Diamox (acetazolamide) from your doctor.
- Tibet Permit: Required for all foreign tourists. Must be arranged through a licensed travel agency at least 20 days before arrival.
- Best timing: Late March to mid-April for peak peach blossoms.
- Budget: ~5,500-8,000 CNY per person (excluding flights and permit fees).
